Cons: There are clear signs of preferences for a specific race. One example is TK. There are many whispers around the class that she has a favorite race and does not even act like she cares about others. I know many people who are taking their kids out at the end of the year from Fammatre just for that. I at least know 3 kids who don't wanna even go to school in the morning. Same goes to principal. I also heard the principal takes side with a specific race. One other example in our class is that an African American kid with behavior issues was terminated in a month, but kids with troubling behaviors, bullying and kicking stay out and become teacher's favorite. In summary, if your kid is intentional, African American, or Hispanic they might not get the equal treatment in Fammatre. Pros: No homework. Some people like that.

Owen has cycled through 4 teachers in one classroom. There have been 2 teachers that have walked out, 2 building subs quit, numerous subs not return. This is all due to administration. The superintendent bases his choices for administration on opinion that good teaching = good administration. A teaching certificate is NOT required by the state to be an administrator. Also, the school board is failing the students as the administration does not support teachers. There are at least 4 administration positions that are opening, numerous teacher positions, and there will be faculty open. After interviewing teachers at this school, they are NOT happy with administration or the school setting.

I do like the love and atmosphere at the school.Everyone gets along pretty much.I do feel some teachers need a little more patience or understanding but other than that the school is great.

Worst school my child has ever been too! They don’t appreciate their students any more than they think they are the child’s parents. They discipline kids without being appropriate about it! I mean what’s the point in taking notes in a meeting if you’re not gonna implement them? Would not recommend this school, and won’t be back next year. We are homeschooling!

Harvest Baptist Academy is a great school. Our three children came from the public school system and Harvest has been a breath of fresh air for us. I am even on a school board for the public school and we moved our kids from public school to Harvest. They teach the education our kids need. Vocabulary alone has grown leaps and bounds. The teachers care about our kids and truly know them. I highly recommend this school if you are looking for a solid Christian education for your kids.

Love this school, feel so lucky to have our children here. Great teachers who love what they do, amazing parent engagement and PTO support for learning benefits like Spanish, science and the arts. Kind and mindful kids and parents in our experience. The only negative I can see is the amount of sugar/candy given out, but hey, it seems to work if you look at test scores… Blown away by this school.

The staff chocked my child and they let bullies hit people and frame the people they hit. Do not go to this school

I love how small the community is at Campbell. Everyone knows you and your student. You and your family are not a number. Principal Moore, Principal of the Year 2023, cares so much about your student. I have a student enrolled and a student who is going next year, faculty already call him by name.

This is a very good school family oriented and instill values and morals, one of my daughter past student and the other currently attending and it has been great for me over the years, apart from some bullying faced in the early years. I will recommend to anyone

We’ve enjoyed our time here at PPA. I’ve watched my daughter’s thrive both academically and artistically. They love going to school!

We have attended the most expensive private school in the area and spent years trying to “fit” in to their mold. Our son is high energy, bright, strong willed and funny. But he’s not a sit at the desk and be quiet kind of kid. CDS has provided him structure and just enough freedom. The faculty accept him for who he is. They understand that kids are kids. They’re going to mess up. But learning from those mistakes is what matters. If you’re looking for a middle school that accepts your child as they are and encourages them to be their authentic self, welcome to Country Day School!

Faithful Shepard is an amazing school that truly feels like a community and home. The teachers care about the students so much and it shows everyday. My kids have thrived in this environment and we let them choose each year if they would like to transfer to Eagan public or stay at FSCS - and each year there is no hesitation to stay. There are so many fun events and the parents are also highly active and involved and we have made so many new family friends. Great role models for the kiddos across the board. HIGHLY recommend!!

My daughter is finishing up her sixth grade year here and I have been so pleased with her teachers, administration, other parents, and especially the band program. It’s a school where the administration knows each student’s name, supports teachers, and works well with a dedicated PTO. Teachers are caring, responsive, and creative. Science, social studies and math have been my daughter’s favorite subjects, besides band. The band has a fantastic, energetic, and talented band director who is so great with kids. She’s amazing.

This school condones bullying. No matter how many times you report it nothing will be done about it. My niece has been experiencing other kids hitting, pushing and threatening to kill her and nothing has been done to protect her.

Teachers are reliable and respectful. All of them passionate and ready to teach. Open Communication has been awesome 2022-2024 Great customer service over the phone as well as in person. Parents should be asking more questions to get involved because children need our support and positivism to succeed. Middle school age students are difficult and are not often engaged. Behavior integration practices should be linked to success. Parents must pay attention to any external factors which may be affecting your children engagement (behaviors, learning issues, emotional challenges, difficult personalities and bad habits). Our future leaders are middle and high school age students now!
